Spamming is theft of services, and unless and until effective legislation is passed to deal with spammers harshly, it WILL render the email system useless. Spam is increasing at a huge rate, and this year AT&T reported that it's a huge problem for them - 30% of the traffic on their network is spam related.
You think spammers are legit? How come when the dumbass "bulker' types spam me as a webmaster with their hosting services or what have you, they never, EVER leave a url? That's because if they did I would ass fuck them and their little server.
My idea of ideal spam legislation: Spam, be lined up against the nearest wall and summarily shot.
Cheers,
Backov
