Why on earth would a site that converts increase all on it's own. Other than a few SE hits where does all this magical traffic come from?
You've lost the plot there somewhere. Sure, eventually a good tgp/links site etc will gain in traffic from bookmarkers but that's not a site that converts as such - it simply sends traffic to sites that convert.
Tell you what - put a pay site/AVS site up with a shit hot front end that converts like crazy and then do nothing with it. Then sit back and watch how high the traffic goes. It's not even gonna pay for a cheap holiday.
