No. VOD can make huge gross revenue but it doesn't make much profit so it really won't take off like paysites/freesites. With VOD you have to do a huge amount of volume to make it worth your while.
You have to pay for the content, the studio, the streaming provider gets a %, the bw, the webmaster, and so on.. Expenses are much higher than running paysites.
