There was a guy whose kid got bit by a neighbor's dog, and Animal Control wouldn't do anything about it, so he called the news station and they weren't interested. He called a different station and told them it was a Pit Bull (which it wasn't) and they send a photographer along with the journalist to make sure they get good pics of the slavering killer dog.
It's all fucking hype.
