Because most Americans never travel outside the US and if they do they go to Canda or mexcio which until recently I don't think you even needed one. Yeah, I forget which comedian it was but he said if you never been out of america you must of been under a rock, He said everyone has had a drunken bet where a friend said you couldnt make it to canada and across the border or vice versa for mexico
