It's a subtle, yet important difference.

I'm raising this issue on the boards, and not directly with the sponsors, as I see a lot of other programs taking cues from these two, and I want to make sure everyone gets it straight, and that there is no confusion on the subject.

This is a pretty darn good question. But each sponsor has their own way of doing things. I know a bunch of sponsors who would not have a problem with this. ( or shall I say have never had a problem with this) while others have been very adament that you use ONLY their promo materials so that the person who joins from your gallery is able to find the content that influenced them to make the purchase.

But I think the bigger picture is people freaking out about no free hardcore content. Let me just say that if you can not get your surfer to a Lightspeed or Karup's site without using hardcore images, you need to pick a new niche or leave the business. People are acting as if they can't get traffic to a sponsor without using hardcore galleries. That is absurd.
