PP don't throw insults around just because his rep promised something they couldn't deliver. DX is actually quite good at what he does, hence the enormous waiting list. You didn't pay him anything and he didn't deliver anything so I see no problem. He never told you NOT to hire someone else in the meantime if they could start earlier.
You guys are both good, so stop giving each other a hard time and focus on bringing in the cash
