Word.
People have no idea how dangerous some of these countries can be for a gringo. The police are corrupt and fuck you up in a second. Huge numbers of people live way beyond the poverty level. Money is hard to come by and they ALL know you have it. Your life is worthless in places such as this.
BUT you can go and have a good time and be totally safe IF you are smart and keep to yourself.
