ASACP has sent a message to it's sponsors asking for their feedback, not about whether or not they support or oppose .XXX, but whether or not they believe ASACP communicated it's neutral position effectively originally, or whether ASACP should write a letter of retraction to ICANN. ASACP has asked it's sponsors to specifically address what they believe to be the best for ASACP, their companies, and the industry.
As you're aware many companies are dealing with 2257 issues right now and will hopefully respond to the message to sponsors soon. Until more of them do, a final decision/ action on this will not be made.
