Listen it's real simple, It is LEGAL talk.
If there was an agreement made between the FSC and the US Govt. it is just that and agreement between the FSC and the GOVT. Are you a part of the FSC? if not you are technically NOT part of the agreement. Will they come after you??? who f'n knows. And no one with an ounce of sense will tell you otherwise. Things have to be worded properly to NOT make people liable.
As far as the FSC goes. You don't want to be a member? that is your choice. But people in this industry didn't have the "predicted" TRO without the FSC. Did anyone else file for an injunction on their own?? who was it??
And if your the type of business person who has been on the tit of the adult industry and feel the freebies offered by programs are something your entitled to, your not going to be around long enough to matter.
The FSC membership structure is VERY fair 50 bucks a YEAR for the individual webmaster. That gets you about 20 minutes with a decent lawyer.
Strength in Numbers it is really that simple.
