Not having insurance can ruin your credit, i'm not worried about payment plants etc., but things like MRI's & private surgeries get sent to collection agencies, & i want to be able to buy a house in florida this fall.

It sounded a little bit like you were whining that you hadn't bothered to get insurance, and somehow that was the governments fault, and everybody else should pay for your treatment with their taxes...
