i posted about a month ago (
http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...ight=jury+duty) that i got a summons to be a juror for 3 days.
anyways, i took some advice from a GFY'er, Luc, that posted in that thread. so i wrote a letter to courts asking to be excused and wouldnt ya know it, they actually excused me
so thanks Luc!!
BTW, in case anyone else wants to get out of jury duty, this is what i wrote them:
To Whom It May Concern:
I am asking to be excused from Jury Duty for the following dates:
[insert date 1]
[insert date 1]
[insert date 1]
I run my own business from home and as the only employee of my business, I am subjecting myself to a large sum of lost income, if I were to leave it unmanaged for such amount of time.
