Some history for you Canadians with country self esteem issues. Really, to be proud of a war that ended in a stalemate is a joke. The *British* burned down the White House. Not Canadians. Your country didn't exist till 1868.

Back to the war with the British. Neither side could win decisive battles, which lead to the signing of the Peace Treaty in Ghent.
