My son has one and loves it. He's a gamer. To me, it's just another laptop. (though it does have cool glowy blue alien eyes on it)
He researched an eternity before getting it. The downsides I remember him speaking of are short battery life. Also, it is heavy.
All I really know about it is that I'm glad his dad paid for it, and not me. ;)
