So my girl has a very interesting point about the internet - do you agree?

We were talking about how review sites and message boards were much more popular for men than they were for women.

She suggested that the reason why is because women typically have girlfriends to talk openly about their feelings with, so that's where they vent, share thoughts/opinions first; while men primarily do these things (and feel the most comfortable) anonymously over the internet.

That because men amongst themselves are'nt as open as women, this is what drives the popularity of forums/review sites...

I thought it was an interesting take, and I can see the logic. What do you think?
