And ifriends better get it turned off or they will be liable as far as i see. I dont see why that is hard to understand or would be "slamming". Its not a threat , its a wise piece of legal advice i would think..

Actually your exact words were "blatant slander", theres no "point" , he either did do blatant slander ( and its quite obvious merely from the dictionary results , that he did nothing of the sort ) or he didn't . And what he said in the title doesn't qualify as slander or libel.
But you are right this wouldn't be accepted in the "real world" , ifriends would be slapped with a c&d and so would the host and owner of the site in question. ( and possibly you for falsely accusing someone of slander

Not raining on your parade, he might have gone about it the wrong way because he is pissed , but nothing illegal about that.. might be a bad business decision in your opinion , others might find it a good one.
