First do some investigation and try to get some statistics regarding the most evident topics like:
- Maximum pageviews a day
- Maximum simultaneous unique visitors you ever had
- Maximum connections on your database you ever had.
- Maximum mbit peaks
After you know this, an experienced sys admin can tell you what kind of machine you
need to run your service fast and smooth for now and the next 2 years. At this moment
you don?t know if you need a single or a dual processor, you need 2 or 4 gig internal memory or that you need SCSI or IDE disks.
And probably you don?t want to know; well to be honest I would like to make you an offer to
run your services but first I want to know something more regarding the questions I put up in
the beginning of this post. After that I can make you a offer that?s highly competitive and I guarantee you the quality and continuity via a Service Level Agreement.
We run over 100 large mainstream services for international clients, all based in the Netherlands, all redundant, everything fall backed and save. Besides that we run lots of
galleries for webmasters and we run askjolene.com including all her whitelabels.
Thanks for your time and regards,
Toine
