I lived in chicago for a while, and I assume just like any city there are crazy fucks. However, I have never seen such stereotypical acts of crazed violence like that of south western chitown.

One of the worst I've seen was a 60-65 year old man get beaten near death for his bucket of KFC chicken. Yes he was white, yes they were black and yes he probably died later in some emergency room if he was lucky. The moral of the story is that though a lot of people pretend to be politically correct and not uncomfortable with any color they are more then likely the same people who have never been to bad parts or the world.

I get scared shitless walking alone in a bad part of town regardless of the color of the gang just waiting to kill me for my shoes.

I second on the hit and run, in fact there is certain parts of town I didn't even stop at stop signs or traffic lights. It's just to dangerous.
