The next Z06 is nice, extremely fast, but I drove a standard C6 three weeks ago and found the interior materials not up to par...at all. In fact the plastics were analagous to those I've seen in recent Kia/Hyundais. The leather seats were similarly brutal, I don't know what animals they're sourcing the hides from but they're terrible. There was a large degree of chassis flex, and the steering felt vague during high speed cornering.
You should know more than most considering your garage that there's more to picking any car besides straightline speed, your comments come off as amatuer.
The Gallardo is a great car, Minte made the perfect choice for his needs: A more passionate 911. That's basically what the G is when it comes down to it. I love it, and feel it's a vastly underrated car. Comparing it to any Vette is laughable.

If he wasn't looking for opinions he wouldn't have posted the thread. Its not a maturity issue, I just personally don't like the car. My friends and I call it the gay-ardo, so that is what I called it in my post. Minte didn't take offense to it, it wasn't meant to be offensive.
Also, when I said status car, I didn't mean it didn't perform, Lambo's are GREAT status cars regardless of their performance.
Finally, the '06 Z06 does beat the Gay-ardo in performance without a doubt. Hell it beats its bigger brother the Murc...

For $70,000 its without a doubt the absolute best performance car per dollar... There isn't a single arguement that can prove otherwise.
