When you're dragging and dropping files over other files with the same name, Undo is
not available. Obviously, if I wasn't overwriting files, then I use undo.
Duh!
I think it's retarded that it can drop files into the wrong directory, even when it's plain as day which directory is highlighted. I even had it once drop the files in a subdir of the directory I want to drop them in, and the subdir was
not visible! (i.e. it was not expanded to show the subdirs of the dir I was dropping them into). I couldn't believe it.
I know most people don't use drag n drop with tons of files, and even I don't do it that often. But when I need to do it about 20 times in a row, and I notice 5 mistakes - there is something wrong. And it's not like I'm moving so fast I can't see what's going on...
In any case, I will never trust this feature again, and if this ever happens to you (i.e. the files aren't where they are expected), then don't assume it was a mistake on your part.
