Interesting note! On actual child abuse cases, the US is one of the worst countries for talking the talk and not walking the walk.
Unlike the majority of western countries who willingly give up bodies to other countries where there are allegations of child rape/abuse committed within these countries, the US has failed miserbly in this area.
The last, and this was the first occasion the DOJ gave up a US pedo for prosecution of offenses abroad, was about a year ago. It took over two years pressuring the DOJ to give this creep up to another nation. They eventually gave in when threatened with embarassment in international orgs. The pedo was eventually extradicted from the US for trial and convicted of assaults on... think about 13 kids and is now serving a jail term.
Another asshole is being chased at the moment and is now back in the US - let's see if they give that body up without more fuss.
It kinda makes me puke listening to bullshit about free speech, values and rights when that shit is going on.
