I was driving home from the Friday night drag racing with some friends. There's a 4 lane, 2 way road that narrows into a 2 lane 2 way road. So I need to merge into the lane. Now, the traffic was very light, I'm talking light, because it was almost 11 pm. As I'm approaching the "merging point", a van is speeding along in the lane that I need to merge into, coming up beside me. I figure ok, I'll just slow down, let him get by, and then I can merge in. As soon as he gets next to me, he slows and matches my speed. Okay, I'll speed up. Fucker speeds up and stays right next to me. So with about 5 meters to go, we're both doing 80km/h, I mash the brakes and he tries to do the same. Idiot was in a huge, ugly Astro Van. What followed was hilarioty to the extreme. Somehow, he managed to fishtail into the oncoming lane (no traffic mind you), and then overcorrects and fly's across the lane I was trying to merge into, then overcorrects and flies back across the road. Now, I don't know how hard it is to control a low speed wobble, because I've only ever experienced a high-speed one, which I was able to drive out of. This idiot flew back and forth across both lanes for a solid 50 meters before finally spinning out and smacking the curb, smashing one wheel clean off and bending the other one to hell and back. I rolled down my window, slowly drove past him, and threw my Tim Hortons coffee all over the side of his van
