Audioslave - Live in Cuba [DVD]
This DVD came out on Tuesday, and I bought it yesterday. I just finished watching it minutes ago. Not bad. It was filmed all on one night, which is nice because I hate concert films that filmed over a period of two or three nights. You often see that on DVDs.
The video was of good quality except for one particular camera that was focusing on the drummer Brad Wilk. It looked a little blurry, but was a minor problem I guess. My main gripe with this DVD is that the Audio is in 2.0. What the hell's up with that? I couldn't believe my ears and eyes when I saw that it wasn't in 5.1 or DTS.
I'm sure there's an explanation for this somewhere on the internet. But for now, I'm pretty puzzled by this decision. I guess the best part of this concert DVD is the fact it was filmed in Cuba. Audioslave is the first rock band to have ever played a live concert there. There's a little documentary on the DVD documenting this.
