Not fighting to push any racism in this thread, people can easily throw statistics at blacks but keep in mind good things like slavery and segregation just ended a few generations ago. The same people who kept slavery and segregation alive have had signifigantly more time to establish grounds both financially and morally. You take people who have been treated like dogs for centuries and you expect them to magically become 'civilized' people when a handful of them still feel choked by society because they will never be playing on equal ground.
I could see if they came to America WILLINGLY but that isn't the case. People say "yeah it's easy to slam blacks but they're not helping themselves". On the contrary if you just look.. they're doing what they have been since they got here.. trying to survive by any means necessary. America put them in a perfection position.. squeezed out their usefulness and then 'proved' how savage they are by taking away what little they had and giving them nothing in return. If none of this was true you wouldn't have had black leaders like King and X. A friend of mines father still won't hire blacks no matter how educated.. yet his landlord is black.
But personally.. being neither black nor white, thats just how fucking America is. Racist. Deal with it or do what you have to and get the fuck out. Things aren't going to change for the minority, there is no reason to. Equality isn't a good enough reason, sadly enough. I can't fight for either side as I love women of ALL color
