Not near as much as in Thailand. HIV rate among working women is 80-90%, depending on the area. And that quote came from one of the major travel guide publishers. There's not a chance I would hook up with a prosititute over there. Heck, I was dodging the bananas being shot out of the stripers' vaginas! (no joke).
As for shooting content: Never did it myself, but I've worked with photographers that did. Standard practice to carry extra bribe money to get out of trouble. Would suck to find the unbribably ones, though...
For the record, prostitution is technically illegal over there, but obviously not enforced.
