You're very lucky. I've worked side by side with my SO for years & it's like putting your relationship in a pressure cooker. We started working from home the first year we were together & 2 people living *and* working out of a 1 bedroom condo is fucking hell. I'm grateful that we stuck with each other, but I wouldn't expect most couples to survive that.

As for cheating, I think it's really easy to blame an affair for the collapse of a marriage that was falling apart anyways. It's often people who are already looking for a way out who cheat.
