Of course ... I contacted my attorney a few hours after the accident. However, hospitals need a financial commitment from someone when a person does not have insurance. So her mom signed off on it. The lawsuit will be down the road and who knows how long it will take to settle. Once settled, who knows how long it will take to get the money from the people that are liable. IT could be years .... but she needs medical attention now and rehab now.
