The point is that shit happens and I'm sorry it happened but to come to GFY and ask for money just doesn't make any sense to me. The next time one of my employees get hurt, I'm coming straight to GFY and asking for donations...it seems to work.

I would expect that the store owner or Reeve's family would set up a fund raiser, if they could and wanted to. That's their decision. Just like if a cop, for example, was injured at home and his insurance didn't cover it - I'd think his fellow officers would appeal to other cops. Or an athlete or anyone else part of a social or professional circle.
But I am certain I would not come to GFY after seeing these threads. I wouldn't put anyone I know through the drama of having to answer to everyone here who thinks they didn't post the right way, said things in the wrong order and questioned the events.
I assume the family, friends, etc. all have much bigger things on their mind than putting up with this shit.
