I love camping! I do mostly car camping and if I am not car camping the site is about a 30 minute canoe ride so it's not bad.
The foil ideas are the way to go when all you have is an open flame
I always bring a small grill and small burner but if you don't have that stuff just bring a ton of tin foil. Put some potatoes in there, I also do ears of corn
If you peel back the husks of the corn and put a garlic spread, pepper, and butter on there and put the husks back up and wrap in foil and cook it that way, it's GREAT!
