Israel for the most part does picks in battles carefully ... look at that operation grapes of wrath.. invaded south lebanon and held for what... 8 years.. maybe more.. i dont recall the usa ever telling the israel not to invade.. but when scuds landed in tel aviv... bush senior went to tel aviv to speak to sharon personally.
