federal budget crisis coming to a head. truth is this whole issue might be diverted or put on the back burner because of federal budget cuts.
monster deficit spending is causing many politically based programs to be cut right now.
katrina, iraqi war, etc. do we decide to make humvees bulletproof in bagdad to save soldier's lives, or give the money to a bunch of federal agents to drive around the usa in full size fords to police paperwork?
ain't enough money for everything on the agenda.
