In canada do they have to buy cards to insert or can they just purchase more minutes online or over the cell?

You just buy a card for whatever amount, call a number on the cell, punch in the number on back of card and its done.
Im curious how this will sell online, i would figure most people who go for pre-paid phones dont have credit cards or money or jobs.
