They worked for the company, knew the stocks were over valued, probably manipulated them so they were over valued. then sold before they crashed. I think it's insider dealing.
Whether it was illegal or not it is immoral, these guys were meant to steer the company up, not just join and get shares they could sell to line their own pockets with.
