There are many benefits to buying one of those $4,000+ cameras. One is the speed at which they work, the cheaper ones are just too slow. Try doing a strobe series of shots with them.
Speed of shooting is essential when shooting amateur, otherwise the pictures look to posed.
The other is just the size and quality of the image and of course the ability to adjust the images before shooting.
The reason they do not include a lens is so you can change lenses to suit subject matter. Porn is best shot on a lens 85mm+
