A believer? In God?
I am a firm firm believer in evolution. Being an anthro major it is nearly the backbone of my discipline.
But I am not so foolish as to assume thats it. Nothing more.
Is there a God? Was there a first cause? Obviously there was... I am sitting here typing. There our things our puny brains will never be able to understand let alone grasp. People who cant figure out how to get listed on the Hun should not be telling others whether or not God exists or what the meaning of life is.
Do I believe in the traditional monotheistic faiths? Oh hell no. Those are explanations to placate the masses. Kernels of truth wrapped in centuries of shit.
But will I take that and call all religious thought shit? Never. Thats so ignorant it makes me want to vomit.
