FAT PEOPLE!! THE EQUATION IS VERY SIMPLE HERE:

CALORIES IN < CALORIES OUT

Stop eating like pigs and think about what you're putting into your mouth. Read about the glycemic index (carbs) & its effects on insulin (responsible for shuttling nutrients into your cells for enegery) and your body as well as your BMR (basal metabolic rate). You should figure this out before you do anything, your BMR is the amount of calories your body expends daily for normal bodily functions.

If your BMR is 2800 calories per day, and you consume less calories... then your body burns what for energy, FAT DEPOSITS! If you add some resistance or cardio training a few times a week then you add even more to that number as well as increase your metabolic rate.

3500 calories = 1lb

Anyone seriously looking to lose weight should read, read & read more. Most obese people suffering from type 2 diabetes, depression and other things typically 'cure' themselves after they lose the weight.

It's not a diet, its a lifestyle change... for the majority of people looking for a 'back to normal goal' this DOESNT mean you have to eat brown rice and chicken breast for the rest of your life but once you get to your goal and fuck up by doing all of the old shit you once did you'll just rebound back to fatville.

Most important you need to figure out what works for you and dont burn yourself out by eating tuna and chicken breast every day while dieting... learn to cook with the right meats, carbs & fats... drink diet sodas, water, flavored water (with 0 cals), use splenda. Don't give in to that temptation for desert everytime.

Maintenance is a lot easier than the journey back to 'normal' for the obese. A cheat day where you eat whatever you want will help to keep you sane.

Anyway, good luck folks.
