If you don't understand the spanish from a South American country there's a reason for it, they're using slang and you won't find it in any Diccionario de la Real Academia.

I know my doodoo and I know when one spanish translation is sucky. It doesn't matter where I live. It comes from speaking spanish as my first language.
I agree spanish should be the same regardless of where you live. Now here in the US we speak spainglish
