Last week I found out that google punished my site because my title had 106 characters and you need to stay under 80, I fixed it and get much better results. I spent 4 hours reading seo stuff and learned a ton, I also learned that you must be very carefull with who you pick to do your seo work because they can mess up things for you big time.

Tricking google is a no no, whatever works now google will catch up and punish you for it in the future. Just do the correct thing and you will be fine with the SEO.
