That's not always such good advice. On several occasions we've threatened lawsuit over copyright infringement of our original photos
before turning matters over to our attorney. It was no bluff on our part - simply an attempt to deal with the issue ourselves without lawyer intervention.
But this guy sounds like a flake. He'd have to prove in a court of law that a copyright infringement resulted in loss of livelihood to him - and that's not always an easy thing to do.
