I once used my epass card to take money out from a bank machine and the bank machine didnt have enough cash to give me what i ordered . ( i think it was like 200 or 500 i asked for and it gave me like $80 or something , then said " ateempting to reverse transaction" then " failed"
so i check my epass , and sure enough the full amount is missing.. so i call epassporte and they say "never heard of that i would contact the bank " , im like " it was a bank machine " they said go to the nearest bank to the bank machine " , i explain it was a kiosk operated by a bank in another city " so they tell me to go there and i go and speak to the bank manager , and suprise suprise they tell me the exact same thing " hmm never heard of that , but its not our fault , contact your credit card company " lol so im lke well it was your bank machine , and i tell them im not leaving till they give me my money , so they get me to contact them (epass)on speakerphone , and once again epass tells me its the banks fault.., but this time i say " im actually at the bank now and they say its your fault" and so the epass guy gets his boss , and they fix the problem like whamo..
it wasnt a big deal but , why does everyone blame the other guy..

hm, never heard of that ;)
But seriously I've never in my life had an experience where the ATM was out of money, quite often though the ATMs are out of specific notes, so if you want to withdraw say 320 bucks but the ATM doesn't have 20s it'll warn you and display the message "only 300 is availible, is that acceptable?"
but yet again I live in Africa, as we all know we're quite advanced here ;)
