Actually, the U.S. is putting pressure on Canada not to enact that law. I heard an interview with the "Drug Czar" who had already been in Ottawa twice to work against it.
They tell me at those meetings I go to that I shouldn't do that any more, 'cuz a good buzz goes better with a good beer (and they are quite right), so I kinda think they ought to keep it illegal since I can't do it - but fuck, I'm tired of state taxes going more and more to building prisons any more.
