I was in a somewhat similar situation. Some people because of their own inadequacies with themselves, find pleasure out of bringing pain onto others. There's nothing you can do except go on living well...
A bitch of a school bus driver (you know, the stereotypical bus driver from South Park) reported my license plate because I flicked her off after she went road rage psycho on me without any kids around and for no reason. I got a ticket in the mail, had to hire a lawyer, show up in court, etc (the ticket was serious, 5 points plus up to 15 days in jail). I was completely in the right, no police officer around, but because of the way the legal system works, it was a he-said she-said situation. The bitch showed up to court, and waited 3 hours just to make sure she could fuck me any way she could.
I know how it feels to want nothing more to get back at them, but sometimes the best solution is to let it go and not let it bother you.
