No, in fact it came from a Toronto Sun columnist (albeit, pro-Harris).
Everyone didn't hate Harris. If this were true, he wouldn't have been re-elected a second time. Only those who were negatively affected by his fiscal decisions (union types). There were a large number of us who supported Harris throughout his terms.
And to say he "never kept his promises either" is to not know your politics. As far back as my memory goes, I can't think of another politician who kept so many of his promises as Harris did (and I'm 41).
