1600x1200 is a 4.3 aspect ratio, whatever laptop you go w/ make sure its a 16.9 aspect ratio... 1920x1200, 1680x1050, 1440x900, etc... widescreen is the way to go, and makes for better form-factors in laptops that sport larger glass..
