Scientists have modeled the plane hitting such a hard object like that would flow like a liquid into the building.
This accounts for why the damage was severe inside, and relatively little on the outside. The speed and path of the plane literally sucked itself inside of the Pentagon.
Who would you trust more, some theorists, or some scientists who modeled the crash based on physics?
