Do what I did and just get both! Then you get the best of everything each has to offer.

I love it. You're perceptions are just the opposite of mine. Not saying who's right, just get a kick out of how both of us see it so differently.
The only place I listen to Sirius is from home. Have not put a Sirius radio in the car yet. But in home I do better with Sirius. I get XM via the repeaters and it drops out more often. Sirius I only get satellite feed. Once I got the antenna positioned well, it's not dropped since, except during thunderstorms. Still don't have either of the antenna's out side yet though. I need to get the extension cord.
I like my XM radio more. I also like XM customer support much better. I'm hacked at Sirius and don't like what they are doing with their rebates. I ordered a radio from them, didn't get the rebate slip when I ordered. I think my computer crashed or something when I tried to print it and I forgot to go back. I asked for a rebate form when the radio came in. They wouldn't provide it. XM has a place on their website for expired rebate forms. That is, it's too late to buy a radio and use the rebate form but not too late to send it in.
Told Sirius I was going to file a complaint with the BBB and they only said the terms of our rebate were clearly stated.... I think they just don't get it. I think someone gets it and knows exactly what they are doing. Make it as hard as possible to get the rebates. I'll get it.
I like Sirius programming more but XM is good too. Sirius radios are not as nice dollar for dollar. Sirius customer support is horrible.
