Logical? If you're thinking about the word sharp being in the same context as knives or tools, then no, it's not logical. But sharp can also mean smart.... "She's a sharp cookie"..... "Figuring that out was very sharp of you"...... "That guy is very sharp-witted"......
In that context the phrase actually IS logical.
