"What makes you qualified to head the ASACP?

The ASACP represents the industry - and many times is the gateway to the gov't. Being the leader of that group is a pretty heavy task. I'm not familiar with your past work experience relating to the adult industry, education, etc. And also how you got to be the head of the ASACP - did someone hire you, were you put in place years ago, are you the founder? Is there any review period where your work is analyzed, etc. Could you shed light on any and all of this?

A person with this kind of responsibility should be constantly scrutinized to ensure the right person is in there doing a good job. Thats not to say you aren't the right person, but I honestly am not sure what makes you qualified, hence the original question."

Once again, a good question and I agree it can be a very heavy task; especially those days when we need to view images of children being sexually abuse in order to verify a site contain CP before we investigate further and pass on the information to law enforcement.

Many of your questions were answered in one of the 142 posts, but I will summarize in this post. Plus, I have been available to talk with people at many tradeshows in the last 3 1/2 years and usually on a panel.

I am am Association Executive with over 30 years of business/technology experience; I belong to the American Society of Assocation Executives. In addition over the years I have been active as a member in many associations, more recently: Women in Technology International, Digital Coast Roundtable, Industry Relations Council, National Speakers Association, Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce. In addition, I am on the board of FSC and was a consultant to Women In Adult.

I worked for large companies such as L'Oreal, a company that was bought by Unisys, ADP (Automatic Data Processing), and then a few smaller companies. My clients included Fortune 1000 companies, medical insurance providers and major banks, including First Interstate and Bank of America.

And yes, there is oversight. No one has any job without oversight. I develop goals and plans each year and report on the progress. These and my performance are reviewed by the Advisory Council.
