You know, there is an old George M. Cohen line (he wrote Yankee Doodle Dandy and other horrible stuff) that said "Many a bum show has been saved by the flag." Today is a somber day; I guess I just feel personally that it needs to be observed quietly in some small way, and then we live our lives in spite of the threat. The colors almost seem celebratory ... and that just don't seem right somehow.
