Also, what is the end product? If it's just a 160x or 320x window, there's no need to buy a super-duper 3-chip camera. On the other hand, if you're going into producing VHS and DVD product for viewing on full-size monitors and TV screens, get something really good. I'm sure you'll get some good advice here on that score. My only point is that if the image is going to be small, the difference between a good high-end and a good low-end camera will be all but imperceptible.
